This story picks up directly from the events of Exposure. One woman ended up with Aaron. The other didn’t — and has spent long enough letting that answer define her. She’s given an assignment that puts her back in the same room she thought she’d walked away from for good, tasked with capturing someone else’s story before she can find the courage to chase her own. Somewhere between the deadline she can’t start and the bar she can’t stay away from, she starts to understand that reframing isn’t the same as forgetting — and that putting something down is the only way to finally choose something else.
